It was established in 1989 through an Act of Parliament and is incorporated as an amendment to the Aviation Act of the Laws of Zambia.nnZambia Airports Corporation Limited is responsible for the development, maintenance and management of the four designated international airports, namely, Kenneth Kaunda (Lusaka), Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula (Livingstone), Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe (Ndola), and Mfuwe as well as the provision of air navigation services throughout Zambia.nnThe Corporation is mandated to enhance safety and improve standards of service provision at these airports and in the Zambian air space.
